TOPS Club (Take Off Pounds Sensibly) is a non-profit, non-commercial weight-loss support organization founded in 1948. The Mariposa TOPS Club started Aug. 4, 1969. They meet at the Mariposa United Methodist Church, 4991 6th Street (at 6th and Bullion streets), in Mariposa on Tuesday mornings from 9:30-11 a.m. First-time visitors can attend in-person meeting for free; annual membership structures apply thereafter through the Official TOPS Website. There are speakers on various topics such as nutrition, food preserving, physical therapy, health counseling.
