Phyllis Nadine Grin, 78, of Mariposa was born on March 30, 1947, and passed away on Feb. 25, 2025.

She passed away with her loving grandson, Brandon Allen, by her side.

Phyllis was preceded in death by her parents, William and Mildred Haislip; her siblings, Linda, Sandy and Michael Haislip; her husband, Fred Grin; her daughter, Tammy Culbertson and her grandson, Ronald Braswell Jr. (RJ).

She is survived by her sons James Allen, Ron Braswell and his wife Liz, along with her five grandchildren James, Brandon, Charlemagne, Joseph and Angelique.

Phyllis had a love for life along with a fiery spirit that served to strengthen everyone she met.

Phyllis lived with a caring heart, her family being what was the most important to her. Phyllis’ laughter and smile always lifted a room.

She could not have a conversation without a smile and laugh.

Phyllis’s wish was for a small family viewing and her ashes to be spread out to sea along with her husband ashes. She also wanted us to dance, sing and celebrate; not to mourn or be sad.
