Operation Turkey returning to give to those in need

Operation Turkey is returning for its fourth year to help those in need.

Mariposa Safe Families is partnering with the Mariposa County Sheriff’s Foundation, Mariposa County Probation Department, Mariposa County Sheriff’s Office, Mariposa Search and Rescue and Pioneer Market to provide Thanksgiving meals to families facing food insecurity.

Reserve your spot by 5 p.m. on Nov. 19. Meals will be available for pickup on Nov. 26 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Mariposa Safe Families (5070 Bullion Street in Mariposa).

Members from all partnering agencies will be delivering meals to residents in need of delivery on Nov. 26.
