JAIL BOOKING REPORT
Here are some of the highlights from the recent booking reports at the Mariposa County Jail. All suspects are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
Dec. 29 – Devan Allen Hammer, 33, Mariposa, was arrested for illegally trying to stop a crime victim or witness from cooperating with law enforcement, battery, assault with a deadly weapon, assault using force that could cause significant harm, threatening death or great bodily injury, burglary, being under the influence of a controlled substance, obstruction of a public officer, simple assault and vandalism. • Shane Leroy Noone, 57, Mariposa, was arrested for corporal injury of a spouse, driving without proof of insurance, driving without valid registration, driving without a license, manufacturing or selling fake/fraudulent driver’s licenses or ID cards and misusing vehicle registration or license plates.
Dec. 30 – Charles Williams, 25, Coulterville, was arrested for carrying a concealed dirk or dagger and trespassing. • Richard Hanna, 58, Mariposa, was arrested for possession of a controlled substance.
Dec. 31 – Johnnie Dee Wise, 35, Mariposa, was arrested for child abuse, assault with a deadly weapon and failing to correct a vehicle violation previously promised in writing to fix. • Mario Alejandro Yanez, 37, Mariposa, was arrested for assault with a deadly weapon.
Jan. 1 – Linzy Rose Norris, 35, Mariposa, was arrested for battery of a spouse. • Diego Eduardo Garcia, 19, Mariposa, was arrested for battery of a spouse. • Dean Allen Dwerlkotte, 61, Mariposa, was arrested for possession of a controlled substance for sale, possession of unlawful paraphernalia, possession of a controlled substance and under the influence of a controlled substance. • Martina Ann Johnson, 61, was arrested for disorderly conduct involving alcohol.
Jan. 2 – Salvador Prado Garcia, 63, Turlock, was arrested for possession of a controlled substance. • John Issac Barnard, 37, Mariposa, was arrested for obstructing a public officer. • Iris Aracely Reyes, 38, Mariposa, was arrested for possession of a controlled substance while having two or more priors.
Jan. 3 – Tyler Creegan Harris, 46, Mariposa, was arrested for obstructing a public officer. • Tyler Wayne Engman, 31, Mariposa, was arrested for receiving known stolen property, obstructing a public officer, possessing burglary tools and identity theft. • Brandon Lee Fairchild, 36, Mariposa, was arrested for obstructing a public officer. • Johnnie Dee Wise, 35, Mariposa, was arrested for child abuse, child stealing, possession of unlawful paraphernalia, possession of a controlled substance and contributing to the delinquency of a minor. • Nakoma Kenneth Parker, 48, Mariposa, was arrested for failing to yield to an emergency vehicle, possessing unlawful paraphernalia, possession of a controlled substance and obstructing a public officer. • James Michael Starr, 37, Mariposa, was arrested for disorderly conduct involving alcohol.
Jan. 4 – Benjamin Scott Wagner, 47, Mariposa, was arrested for burglary and vandalism.
SHERIFF’S REPORT
Dec. 29 – An ambulance was requested on 12th Street in Mariposa. • A fire occurred on Lakeview Drive in Mariposa. • A violation of a court order was reported on 10th Street in Mariposa. • A burglar alarm was reported on Lemee Lane in Mariposa. • Suspicious circumstances occurred on Triangle Road in Bootjack.
Dec. 30 – Trespassing occurred on Ben Hur Road in Mariposa. • Vandalism was reported on Highway 140 in Catheys Valley. • A traffic hazard was reported on Indian Gulch Road in Hornitos. • Illegal dumping occurred on Trower Road in Catheys Valley. • An animal was reported on Coakley Circle in Mariposa.
Dec. 31 – Disturbing the peace was reported on Jones Street in Mariposa. • A suspicious vehicle was reported on Bear Valley Road in Hornitos. • A burglary occurred on Highway 140 in Mariposa. • Harassing by electronic communication was reported on Pegleg Road in Bootjack. • Unsafe shooting occurred on Joe Howard Street in Mariposa.
Jan. 1 – Someone was drunk in public on Highway 49 North in Mariposa. • A burglar alarm was reported on Chowchilla Mountain Road in Ponderosa Basin. • A welfare check was requested on Dogtown Road in Greeley Hill. • An ambulance was requested on Highway 132 in Don Pedro. • Suspicious circumstances were reported on Highway 49 North in Mariposa.
Jan. 2 – A violation of a court order occurred on 10th Street in Mariposa. • Petty theft was reported on Grillo Drive in Don Pedro. • Vandalism occurred on Highway 140 in Catheys Valley. • A traffic stop occurred on Woodland Drive in Mariposa.
Jan. 3 – Suspicious circumstances were reported on Schafer Road in Bootjack. • A welfare check was requested on Highway 49 South in Woodland. • A follow up occurred on Jalapa Way in Don Pedro. • An ambulance was requested on Guadalupe Mountain Road in Catheys Valley. • A domestic disturbance was reported on Live Oak Road in Mariposa.
Jan. 4 – Trespassing occurred on Cedro Court in La Grange. • A traffic collision was reported on Highway 41 and Miami Mountain Road in Fish Camp. • A 911 hangup occurred on Morrissey Road in Mt. Bullion. • Fraud was reported on Chowchilla Mountain Road in Ponderosa Basin.
