JAIL BOOKING REPORT
Here are some of the highlights from the recent booking reports at the Mariposa County Jail. All suspects are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.

Nov. 26 – Michael Cosmo May, 53, Midpines, was arrested for attempted murder. • Robert Charles Owen, 61, Mariposa, was arrested for disorderly conduct involving alcohol.
Nov. 27 – No bookings to report.
Nov. 28 – Earl Linn Pampaian-Araujo, 40, Mariposa, was arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol. • Juan Carlos Arellano, 51, Atwater, was arrested for murder, mayhem, assault with a deadly weapon, felony elder abuse, burglary, vandalism and obstruction/ resisting an officer. • Clifford Earl Carpenter, 24, Mariposa, was arrested for disorderly conduct involving alcohol.
Nov. 29 – Joel Allen Dunno, 54, Mariposa, was arrested for assault with a deadly weapon, possession of unlawful paraphernalia and possession of a controlled substance.

SHERIFF’S DAILY LOG
Nov. 24 – Fraud was reported on Hilltop Drive in Mariposa. • An ambulance was requested on Darrah Road in Mariposa. • Petty theft occurred on Highway 49 North in Mariposa. • Harassment was reported on Coakley Circle in Mariposa.
Nov. 25 – An ambulance was requested on Agua Fria Road in Mt. Bullion. • An animal was reported on Bear Valley Road in Hornitos. • Disturbing the peace occurred on Alta Vista Road in Mariposa. • Vandalism was reported on Stumpfield Mountain Road in Ponderosa Basin. • Violation of a court order occurred on Spring Water Way in Bootjack.
Nov. 26 – Harassment was reported on Miller Road in Mariposa. • A traffic stop occurred on Highway 49 North in Mt. Bullion. • A stolen vehicle was reported on Schilling Road in Greeley Hill. • Someone was drunk in public on Bullion Street in Mariposa. • Suspicious circumstances occurred on Highway 49 North in Mariposa.
Nov. 27 – Smoke was seen on Carleton Road in Bootjack. • A welfare check was requested on Carter Road in Bootjack. • Assault/ battery occurred on Stumpfield Mountain Road in Ponderosa Basin. • A domestic disturbance was reported on Highway 140 in Catheys Valley. • A traffic collision occurred on Hornitos Road in Hornitos.
Nov. 28 – Reckless driving was reported on Creel Road in Ponderosa Basin. • Threats were made on Brodiea Lane in Bootjack. • Unsafe shooting occurred on Indian Peak Road in Woodland. • A burglar alarm was reported on Chowchilla Mountain Road in Ponderosa Basin. • Mail theft occurred on Highway 49 South and Boyer Road in Woodland.
Nov. 29 – Someone was reported missing on Creek View Drive in Woodland. • A traffic collision occurred on Highway 49 South and Indian Peak Road in Bootjack. • Trespassing was reported on Usona Road in Woodland. • A fire occurred on Converse Road in Greeley Hill. • An animal was reported on Rumley Mine Road in Midpines.
Nov. 30 – Suspicious circumstances were reported at the Gold Country gas station in Coulterville. • Reckless driving occurred on the William Sell Bridge in Mariposa. • Someone was reported as a danger to self or others on Wagner Road in Coulterville. • Someone was disturbing the peace on Circle Drive in Mariposa. • An ambulance was requested on Sullivan Road in Mariposa.
