JAIL BOOKING REPORT

Here are some of the highlights from the recent booking reports at the Mariposa County Jail. All suspects are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.

Nov. 17 – No bookings to report.

Nov. 18 – Bart James Lewis, 65, Mariposa, was arrested for threatening crime. • Ryan Wayne Williams, 33, Chatheys Valley, was arrested for vandalism.

Nov. 19 – No bookings to report.

Nov. 20 – Johnathon Daniel Kreisel, 20, Coulterville, was arrested for damaging electrical lines, obstructing a public officer and battery. • Jackie Roy Woods Jr., 49, Mariposa, was arrested for burglary, receiving known stolen property, obstructing a public officer and possession of a controlled substance. • John Marsh, 21, Mariposa, was arrested for disorderly conduct. • Justin Ricky Sutton, 26, Mariposa, was arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol.

Nov. 21 – Justin Ricky Sutton, 26, Mariposa, was arrested for a probation violation.

Nov. 22 – John Isaac Barnard, 37, Mariposa, was arrested for driving without a license and failure to surrender a revoked driver’s license. • Kieth Sheldon Carter, 45, Mariposa, was arrested for possession of unlawful paraphernalia and vandalism. Nov. 23 – No bookings to report.

SHERIFF’S DAILY LOG

Nov. 17 – A burglar alarm was reported on Feliciana Mountain Road in Midpines. • A juvenile refusing to obey occurred on Fiske Road in Greeley Hill. • A violation of a domestic violence order was reported on Ernst Road in Greeley Hill. • A disabled vehicle was reported on Wawona Road in Yosemite. • A suicide was reported on Pine Top Drive in Mariposa.

Nov. 18 – Vandalism occurred on Montana Del Oro Drive in Bootjack. • Child abuse was reported on 10th Street in Mariposa. • A welfare check was requested on Broadway in Coulterville. • A fire was reported on West Whitlock Road in Midpines. • A burglar alarm was reported on Coakley Circle in Mariposa.

Nov. 19 – An animal was reported on Wilburs Way in Catheys Valley. • A juvenile was refusing to obey on Silva Road in Bootjack. • A 911 hangup occurred on Windy Hollow Road in Woodland. • A fire was reported on Deer Run Road in Woodland. • Someone was a danger to self or others on Mountain Way in Woodland.

Nov. 20 – Trespassing was reported on Coakley Circle in Mariposa. • Harassment occurred on Snow Creek Fall in Mariposa. • Repossession occurred on Jessie Street in Mariposa. • A welfare check was requested on Primrose Lane in Mariposa. • Reckless driving was reported on Highway 140 in Mariposa.

Nov. 21 – An ambulance was requested on Creek View Drive in Woodland. • Grand theft was reported on Lakeview Road in Mariposa. • An extra patrol was requested in the Coulterville area. • An animal was reported on Daffodil Drive in Mariposa. • A juvenile was refusing to obey on Old Highway North in Mariposa.

Nov. 22 – A vehicle check occurred on Greeley Hill Road in Greeley Hill. • Threats were made on Jessie Street in Mariposa. • A traffic stop occurred on Highway 49 North in Mariposa. • Grand theft was reported on Martin Road in Mariposa. • An ambulance was requested on Creek View Driving in Woodland.

Nov. 23 – Trespassing occurred on Burney Drive in Mariposa. • A welfare check was requested on Piney Creek Road in Don Pedro. • A violation of a court order occurred on Woodland Drive in Woodland. • A domestic disturbance was reported on Darrah Road in Bootjack. • A traffic collision occurred on Greeley Hill Road and Fiske Road in Greeley Hill.

The above listed calls are actual reports to the Mariposa County Sheriff’s Office dispatch. These are just a sampling of recent calls, but are in no way all inclusive. The intent of this log is to demonstrate the wide array of issues with which Mariposa County law enforcement must deal with, in addition to investigation of serious crimes and their routine patrol.
