JAIL BOOKING REPORT
Here are some of the highlights from the recent booking reports at the Mariposa County Jail. All suspects are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
Sept. 1 – Patrick Leroy Saracino, 70, Coulterville, was arrested for spousal battery. • Juan Figueroa Soto, 37, Coulterville, was arrested for corporal injury.
Sept. 2 – Devon Scott Stewart, 31, Lomita, was arrested for DUI. • Thomas Richard Hoskins, 64, Mariposa, was arrested for spousal battery.
Sept. 3 – Douglas Paul Centobie Jr., 60, Mariposa, was arrested for disorderly conduct: alcohol. • Lohna Faye Frye, 47, Coarsegold, was arrested for possession of a controlled substance. • James Neil Roth, 66, Jamestown, was arrested on two counts of DUI.
Sept. 4 – Tobias James Caschera, 45, Los Gatos, was arrested for cruelty to an animal and fighting in a public place.
Sept. 5 – John William Davis, 59, Mariposa, was arrested for disorderly conduct: alcohol. • Miguel Angel Lozano, 44, Mariposa, was arrested on two counts of driving with a suspended license. • Bobby Wynn Standlee, 34, Coarsegold, was arrested for assault and battery on a person. • Timothy Justin Jamieson, 45, Mariposa, was arrested for assault with a deadly weapon: not a firearm. • Matthew Warren Coates, 63, Mariposa, was arrested for receiving known stolen property.
Sept. 6 – No bookings.
Sept. 7 – Nicholas Shaun Quinn, 34, Mariposa, was arrested on two counts of DUI. • James Clark Boydmanymules, 71, Mariposa, was arrested for corporal injury.
SHERIFF’S DAILY LOG
Sept. 1 – People were asked to be on the lookout in Mariposa County. • Smoke was seen on or from Yosemite Oaks Road in Mariposa. • A fire occurred on Yosemite National Park/Clouds Rest in Mariposa. • Threats were made on Whitmore Drive in Ponderosa Basin. • Child abuse occurred on Hilltop Drive in Woodland.
Sept. 2 – Identity theft occurred on Highway 49 North in Mt. Bullion. • Suspicious circumstances were reported on Pautzke Court in Ponderosa Basin. • Threats were made at the dispatch lobby in Mariposa. • A traffic hazard occurred on Hirsch Road in Woodland. • Multiple fires occurred in Mariposa.
Sept. 3 – An incident of disturbing the peace occurred on Pautzke Court in Ponderosa Basin.
• A report was made of a suspicious vehicle on Allred Road in Bootjack. • Unsafe shooting occurred on Falling Acorn Drive in Mariposa. • A juvenile was in violation of the law on Old Highway North in Mariposa. • Trespassing occurred on Joe Howard Street in Mariposa.
Sept. 4 – Unauthorized use of a credit card or account occurred on Hayward Road in Don Pedro. • Reckless driving occurred just west of Briceburg. • Harassment was reported on Yaqui Gulch Road in Mariposa. • Someone reported fraud on East Westfall Road in Mariposa. • Assault/battery occurred on Hospital Road in Mariposa.
Sept. 5 – A domestic disturbance occurred on Ben Hur Road in Mariposa. • Someone reported petty theft on Homestead Road in Woodland. • Fraud occurred on 10th Street in Mariposa. • Repossession was reported on Oak Grove School Road in Ben Hur. • Property was found on Jessie Street in Mariposa.
Sept. 6 – Trespassing occurred on St. Andrews Road in Mariposa. • Vandalism occurred on 10th Street in Mariposa. • A fire was reported on Wilderness View Drive in Midpines. • A traffic collision occurred on Double Eagle Road in Mariposa.
Sept. 7 – A civil issue occurred at the dispatch lobby in Mariposa. • A fire occurred on Las Mariposas Lane in Catheys Valley. • Someone reported a burglary on Highway 140 in El Portal. • Reckless driving occurred on Greeley Hill Road in Greeley Hill.

The intent of this log is to demonstrate the wide array of issues with which Mariposa County law enforcement must deal with, in addition to investigation of serious crimes and their routine patrol.
