JAIL BOOKING REPORT
Here are some of the highlights from the recent booking reports at the Mariposa County Jail. All suspects are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
Aug. 25 – No bookings.
Aug. 26 – Jaimie Scott Tosto, 37, Mariposa, was arrested for assault with a deadly weapon: not a firearm.
Aug. 27 – No bookings.
Aug. 28 – Eric Neil Pratt, 35, Truckee, was arrested for tampering with property, disorderly conduct: fighting and being under the influence of alcohol/a controlled substance, all inside Yosemite National Park.
Aug. 29 – Cory Alan Westbrook, 30, Mariposa, was arrested on two counts of DUI. • Tenaya Michelle Cunningham, 43, Coulterville, was arrested for possession of a narcotic controlled substance, possession of unlawful paraphernalia and driving when her license was suspended.

Aug. 25 – A traffic collision occurred on Highway 132 in Don Pedro. • Property was reported to be found on Joe Howard Street in Mariposa. • A juvenile was in violation of the law on Old Highway North in Mariposa. • Suspicious circumstances occurred on Smith Road in Mariposa. • Someone reported mail theft on Darrah Road in Bootjack. • A report was made of petty theft on Darrah Road in Bootjack. • Suspicious circumstances occurred on Holtzel Road in Greeley Hill.
Aug. 26 – Smoke was seen on or from Miami Mountain Road in Fish Camp. • Someone reported fraud on Marshall Road in Mariposa. • Warrant information was sought on Smith Road in Mariposa. • Assault and battery were reported on Dogtown Road in Greeley Hill. • Trespassing occurred on St. Andrews Road in Mariposa. • Someone reported an act of vandalism in Ponderosa Basin.
Aug. 27 – Someone reported petty theft on Dudley Ranch Road in Greeley Hill. • Trespassing occurred on Highway 140 in Midpines.
Aug. 28 – A report was made of brandishing on Princeton Way in Mt. Bullion. • A person was harassing electronic communication on Converse Road in Greeley Hill. • Harassment occurred on Fournier Road in Mariposa. • Vandalism occurred on 10th Street in Mariposa. • A report was made of a suspicious person on Pegleg Road in Bootjack. • A vehicle was reported to be abandoned on Old Highway North in Mariposa. • Threats were made on Pegleg Road in Bootjack.
Aug. 29 – A health and safety violation occurred on Highway 140 in Mariposa. • A welfare check occurred on Garcia Court in Ponderosa Basin. • Someone reported mail theft on Old Toll Road, approximately a fourth of a mile east of Pendola Garden, in Mariposa. • A report was made of a suspicious person on Highway 140 in Mariposa. • A person was reported missing from Mariposa Grove. • A traffic hazard occurred on White Rock Road and Old Highway on Catheys Valley.
Aug. 30 – Suspicious circumstances occurred on Indian Gulch Road in Catheys Valley. • A report was made of found property on 10th Street in Mariposa. • Someone reported stalking on 10th Street in Mariposa. • A traffic stop occurred on Highway 49 and Streeter Mountain Road in Woodland. • A report was made of disturbing the peace on Barrett Cove Road in Don Pedro. • Unsafe shooting was reported at a turnout in Mariposa.
Aug. 31 – Coroner services were sought at the Sequoia housing unit in Mariposa. • A vehicle was reported to be abandoned at the McClure Point south ramp in La Grange. • A fire occurred in Mt. Bullion. • A traffic collision occurred in Bootjack. • Someone reported a scam on Azucena Court in Don Pedro. • A domestic disturbance occurred at the McClure Point Campground in La Grange. • Suspicious circumstances occurred on Fournier Road in Mariposa.

The intent of this log is to demonstrate the wide array of issues with which Mariposa County law enforcement must deal with, in addition to investigation of serious crimes and their routine patrol.
