JAIL BOOKING REPORT
Here are some of the highlights from the recent booking reports at the Mariposa County Jail. All suspects are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
May 5 – No bookings.
May 6 – Matthew James Wright, 42, Mariposa, was arrested for possession of unlawful paraphernalia, possession of a controlled substance and being under the influence of a controlled substance.
May 7 – James Jerad McConville, 31, Mariposa, was arrested on a flash incarceration .
May 8 – Timothy Ray Potter, 57, Mariposa, was arrested for possession of unlawful paraphernalia, possession of a controlled substance and probation violation. • Ryan Keith Wilson, 41, Oakhurst, was arrested for post-release supervision violation. • Dewayne Arthur Tillery, 59, Sonora, was arrested on two counts of DUI.
May 9 – Heather Baumann, 36, Mariposa, was arrested for disorderly conduct: alcohol. • Kevin Andrew Bruss, 52, Mariposa, was arrested for indecent exposure and disorderly conduct: alcohol.
May 10 – Crystal Alley, 39, Fresno, was arrested for grand theft, vehicle theft, possession of a narcotic controlled substance, possession of unlawful paraphernalia, possession of a controlled substance and being under the influence of a controlled substance. • Michael Chase Gordon, 33, Mariposa, was arrested for vandalism: defacing property.
May 11 – Melissa Marie Huskey, 45, Mariposa, was arrested on two counts of DUI. • Ricky Lee Loftis, 35, Mariposa, was arrested for driving when his license was suspended and two counts of DUI.

May 5 – Reckless driving occurred on Highway 140 in Mariposa. • Identity theft was reported on Gold Leaf Drive in Mt. Bullion. • A hit and run caused property damage on Hirsch and Indian Peak roads. • Brandishing occurred on Jones Street in Mariposa.
May 6 – A traffic collision occurred on Highway 132 and the Horseshoe Bend Recreation Area loop in Coulterville. • A fire was reported in Catheys Valley. • Grand theft occurred on Highway 140 in El Portal. • Illegal dumping was reported on Agua Fria Road in Mariposa.
May 7 – A report was made of a juvenile refusing to obey on Old Highway North in Mariposa. • Suspicious circumstances occurred on Mormon Bar Crossing in Mariposa. • Child abuse was reported at the Mariposa County Library. • Threats were made on Highway 140 in Mariposa.
May 8 – Trespassing occurred on Saint Andrews Road in Mariposa. • Smoke was seen from Ben Hur and Buckeye roads in Mariposa. • A report was made of a suspicious person on Jones and 8th streets in Mariposa.
May 9 – Animal cruelty occurred on Ben Hur Road in Mariposa. • Indecent exposure occurred on Highway 140 in Mariposa. • Someone reported a fire on Highway 41 in Fish Camp. • Vandalism was reported on Coakley Circle in Mariposa.
May 10 – A traffic hazard occurred on Highway 49 South and Ashworth Road in Bootjack. • A report was made of reckless driving on Highways 140 and 49 in Mariposa. • A person was drunk in public on Highway 140 and Coakley Circle in Mariposa.
May 11 – Suspicious circumstances occurred on Jackass Creek Access Road in Greeley Hill. • A vehicle was reported to be abandoned on Red Hills Road in Mariposa. • Unsafe shooting occurred on Old Highway in Mariposa. The above listed calls are actual reports to the Mariposa County Sheriff’s Office dispatch. These are just a sampling of recent calls, but are in no way all inclusive. The intent of this log is to demonstrate the wide array of issues with which Mariposa County law enforcement must deal with, in addition to investigation of serious crimes and their routine patrol.
