JAIL BOOKING REPORT
Here are some of the highlights from the recent booking reports at the Mariposa County Jail. All suspects are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
March 3 – Shane Vincent Martinez, 41, no hometown given, was arrested for possession of marijuana over 28.5 grams and driving when his license was suspended due to DUI.
March 4 – No bookings.
March 5 – Kyle Victor Campeau, 31, Mariposa, was arrested for disorderly conduct: alcohol. • Lynn Victoria Langley, 48, no hometown given, was arrested for failure to appear.
March 6 – Michael Christophe Harden, 37, Tuolumne, was arrested for vehicle theft, two counts of DUI and hit and run: property damage. • Mario Alejandro Yanez, 36, Mariposa, was arrested for being under the influence of a controlled substance and possession of unlawful paraphernalia. • Storey Dawn Hernandez, 46, Lake Don Pedro, was arrested for threatening crime: intent to terrorize and elder/dependent adult cruelty. • Kyle Victor Campeau, 31, Mariposa, was arrested for vandalism in the amount of $400 or more.
March 7 – Cassaundra Marie Jones, 36, Mariposa, was arrested for corporal injury. • Marcus Paul Wright, 59, Mariposa, was arrested on three counts of possession of unlawful paraphernalia, four counts of possession of a controlled substance (one with two or more people), two counts of failure to appear, violation of probation and vandalism: damage to property.
March 8 – Jonathan Tate Klod, 29, Mariposa, was arrested on three counts of DUI and violation of probation.
March 9 – Michael David Hayner, 41, Mariposa, was arrested for battery with serious bodily injury.

March 3 – Suspicious circumstances occurred on Gavilan Road in Mariposa. • Fraud occurred on Stumpfield Mountain Road in Ponderosa Basin. • A fire occurred on Chowchilla Mountain Road in Ponderosa Basin. • A health and safety violation was reported in Mariposa.
March 4 – A report was made of disturbing the peace on St. Andrews Road in Mariposa. • Identity theft occurred on Burney Drive in Mariposa. • Threats were made on Jones Street in Mariposa.
March 5 – Someone reported a scam on Snow Creek Fall in Mariposa. • A person was drunk in public on Lemee Lane in Mariposa. • Mail theft occurred on St. Andrews Road in Mariposa. • A report was made of suspicious circumstances on Highway 140 in Mariposa. • A traffic collision occurred on Jerseydale Road in Jerseydale. • Vandalism occurred on St. Andrews Road in Mariposa.
March 6 – A traffic collision occurred on Ernst Road in Greeley Hill. • Animal cruelty occurred on East Whitlock Road in Midpines and later at Schoolhouse Road in Catheys Valley. • A report was made of unauthorized use of a credit card or account on Highway 49 North in Mariposa. • Identity theft occurred on Hites Mine Road in El Portal. • A report was made of a domestic disturbance on Colorado Road in Midpines.
March 7 – A fire occurred on Highway 49 South and Harris Road in Ponderosa Basin. • A scam was reported on Mykleoaks Road in Mt. Bullion. • A report was made of a juvenile refusing to obey on Old Highway North in Mariposa.
March 8 – Fraud occurred on Ben Hur Road in Mariposa. • A traffic collision occurred on Highway 49 South and Hirsch Road in Woodland. • A traffic collision occurred on Highway 49 South in Woodland. • A report was made of disturbing the peace on Highway 140 in Mariposa.
March 9 – Assault and battery occurred on Cemetery Street in Mariposa and later on Highway 140 in Greeley Hill. • A fire occurred on Fiske Road in Greeley Hill. • Petty theft was reported on Highway 140 in Midpines.
The above listed calls are actual reports to the Mariposa County Sheriff’s Office dispatch. These are just a sampling of recent calls, but are in no way all inclusive. The intent of this log is to demonstrate the wide array of issues with which Mariposa County law enforcement must deal with, in addition to investigation of serious crimes and their routine patrol.
