JAIL BOOKING REPORT

Here are some of the highlights from the recent booking reports at the Mariposa County Jail. All suspects are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.

December 2 – No bookings.

December 3 – Kenneth Charles Noreiga, 35, Mariposa, was arrested for attempted murder, rape: victim incapable of consent, kidnapping, attempting to prevent a witness/victim with force, corporal injury, false imprisonment, oral copulation of someone under 18 years old and threatening crime: intent to terrorize.

December 4 – Michael Allen Anderson, 54, Le Grand, was arrested for possession of a controlled substance.

December 5 – Cody Reed Larson, 33, Mariposa, was arrested for DUI.

December 6 – No bookings.

December 7 – No bookings.

December 8 – No bookings.s.

SHERIFF’S DAILY LOG

December 2 – Elder/dependent adult abuse occurred on Joe Howard Street in Mariposa. • A report was made of petty theft on Martin Road in Mariposa. • Someone reported fraud on Hemlock Street in Mariposa. • A report was made of child abuse on Highway 49 North in Mt. Bullion.

December 3 – A traffic collision occurred on Highway 140 and Coakley Circle. • Petty theft was reported on Joe Howard Street. • Suspicious circumstances occurred on Highway 49 in Mariposa.

December 4 – A fire occurred on Schilling Road in Greeley Hill. • Fraud occurred on Chicharra Way in Don Pedro.

December 5 – A report was made of a health and safety violation on Highway 49 in Mariposa. • A fire occurred on Greeley Hill Road in Greeley Hill. • A report was made of petty theft on Highway 140 in Mariposa. • A report was made of petty theft on Ben Hur Road in Mariposa.

December 6 – An incident of disturbing the peace occurred on Tulipan Way in Don Pedro. • Petty theft occurred on Burl Drive in Mariposa. • A traffic collision occurred on Hirsch Road in Woodland. • A report was made of a juvenile refusing to obey on Highway 140 in Mariposa.

December 7 – A burglary occurred on Bondurant Mine Road in Greeley Hill. • A traffic collision occurred at the entrance to Coulterville. • Suspicious circumstances were reported on Chowchilla Mountain Road in Ponderosa Basin. • A report was made of a juvenile refusing to obey on Colorado Road in Midpines.

December 8 – Suspicious circumstances occurred on Ernst Road in Greeley Hill. • A traffic collision occurred on Highway 41 in Fish Camp. • A report was made of disturbing the peace on Hospital Road in Mariposa..

The above listed calls are actual reports to the Mariposa County Sheriff’s Office dispatch. These are just a sampling of recent calls, but are in no way all inclusive. The intent of this log is to demonstrate the wide array of issues with which Mariposa County law enforcement must deal with, in addition to investigation of serious crimes and their routine patrol.
