JAIL BOOKING REPORT

Here are some of the highlights from the recent booking reports at the Mariposa County Jail. All suspects are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.

June 22 – No bookings to report.

June 23 – Linda Yvonne Evans, 76, Mariposa, was arrested for corporal injury to a spouse. • Heather Baumann, 37, Mariposa, was arrested for disorderly conduct involving alcohol. • Kevin Andrew Bruss, 54, Mariposa, was arrested for disorderly conduct involving alcohol.

June 24 – Rose Honey Stuart, 39, Groveland, was arrested for conspiracy to commit crime, burglary and vandalism. • Robert Charles Owen, 61, Mariposa, was arrested for petty theft and disorderly conduct involving alcohol.

June 25 – No bookings to report.

June 26 – Angelica Lavonne Vaughn, 41, Mariposa, was arrested for child abuse and a probation violation. • Carissa Marie Anderson, 34, Jamestown, was arrested for possession of unlawful paraphernalia and possession of a controlled substance. • Thomas Leonard Hibpshman Jr., 45, Atwater, was arrested for possession of a controlled substance for sale, identity theft, possession of unlawful paraphernalia, possession of burglary tools, mail theft and unlawful use of a driver’s license.

June 27 – Geoffrey Dean Prinz, 70, Coulterville, was arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol with a blood alcohol level of 0.08 percent or higher. • Nakoma Kenneth Parker, 49, Mariposa, was arrested for failing to yield to an emergency vehicle, driving an unregistered vehicle and filing a false allegation of misconduct against a peace officer.

June 28 – Kaleb Shane Kimbro, 24, Mariposa, was arrested for obstructing a public officer and disorderly conduct involving drugs.

SHERIFF’S REPORT

June 22 – Assault/battery was reported on East Westfall Road in Ponderosa Basin. • Someone was disturbing the peace on Highway 49 North in Mt. Bullion. • Threats were made on St. Andrews Road in Mariposa. • An abandoned vehicle was reported on Highway 49 in Coulterville. • A 911 hangup occurred on Highway 49 North in Mariposa.

June 23 – Extra patrol was requested on Park Lane in Coulterville. • Suspicious circumstances were reported on Railroad Avenue in Fish Camp. • An animal was reported on Triangle Road in Mariposa. • A fire occurred on Highway 140 in Catheys Valley.

June 24 – A burglar alarm was reported on Highway 49 South in Mariposa. • An animal was reported on Highway 49 North in Mariposa. • A 911 mis-dial occurred on Highway 41 in Fish Camp. • A suspicious person was reported on Dawn Road in Mariposa. • An ambulance was requested on Jackson Road in Mariposa.

June 25 – A business check was requested on Hornitos Road in Catheys Valley. • An ambulance was requested on Wildcat Road in Woodland. • Extra patrol was requested on Barrett Cove Road in Don Pedro. • A burglar alarm was reported on Ponderosa Court in Ponderosa Basin. • Foot patrol was requested on Stroming Road in Mariposa.

June 26 – A subject check occurred in Catheys Valley. • A violation of a court order occurred on Ernst Road in Greeley Hill. • A house check was requested on Triangle Road in Midpines. • A suspicious person was reported on Jessie Street in Mariposa. • A fire was reported on Highway 140 in Mariposa.

June 27 – A burglar alarm was reported on Indian Gulch Road in Hornitos. • A house check was requested on Triangle Road in Mariposa. • A fire was reported on Granite Springs Road in Don Pedro. • An ambulance was requested on Wildcat Road in Woodland.

June 28 – Someone was driving under the influence at Highway 49 South and Watt Road in Ponderosa Basin. • Trespassing was reported on Highway 140 in Mariposa. • An ambulance was requested on Broadway in Coulterville. • A scam occurred on Allred Road in Bootjack. • Someone was disturbing the peace on Jessie Street in Mariposa.

The above listed calls are actual reports to the Mariposa County Sheriff’s Office dispatch. These are just a sampling of recent calls, but are in no way all inclusive. The intent of this log is to demonstrate the wide array of issues with which Mariposa County law enforcement must deal with, in addition to investigation of serious crimes and their routine patrol.
