Goodbyes and special thanks were given to the outgoing Royalty: Queen Heely Patterson, Princess Lauren Ramsey and Junior Princess Aurora Kelling, who all did a great job representing Mariposa for the 2024-2025 program year.
Special highlights regarding outgoing royalty
Patterson had obtained a saddle sponsor for each division which meant that this was the first time that all division winners went home with a saddle.
Patterson’s fundraising efforts also enabled her to provide more awards to the contestants.
Patterson was able to provide saddle stands to the winners (which she made with her family), leather sashes, fabric sashes, flag boots and jackets as well as the interview and horsemanship awards.
Kelling was the most traveled of any Junior Princess with over 35 appearances representing Mariposa for the program year throughout the state of California.
She was recognized with a custom leather and cowhide handbag.
