The Keith M Bertkin VFW Post 6042 recently held its annual elections. As always, the post members ask local veterans to check their eligibility and consider joining the post. The post meets the second Thursday of every month, with sharing time and stories from 5 p.m., dinner at 6 p.m. and the meeting immediately following. The post is also inviting the entire community “to have a frosty beer at the Jim Turner Memorial Beer Garden at the upcoming Mariposa County Fair.
