The Mariposa Bears JV football team traveled to Hilmar last month to compete against the Packers in the Super Bowl Championship. The Bears fought hard through the rain and mud as the game came down to the final seconds. With three turnovers in the last minute, Hilmar took the win over Mariposa with a final score of 7-6. The Bears JV team included Bowdee Quinlan, Westin Stappenbeck, Rock Boldroff, Brody Lord, Lucas Araque, Aiden Dunworth, Cole Sturm, Flint Trygsland, EJ Sandoval, Derrick Ramos, Trey Asberry, D’Marquis Johnson-Snowden, Rhyder Merrell, Kett Allison, Raymond Guzman and Tristan Cozzolino.
