The Mariposa middle school girls soccer recently wrapped up their season as they defeated Weaver 5-1 on Nov. 6.

The team’s record for the season was 9-2-1.

This team is one of the most talented and hardest working teams I have been a part of,” said coach Miguel Ramirez-Ruiz.

The players are great kids, they hold themselves accountable, take care of business on and off the field and are great teammates to each other and the coaches.

In 12 games the players have scored 58 goals.

It’s been a fun team to coach,” Ramirez-Ruiz said.
