The Mariposa County Library received a grant from the Pilcrow Foundation, allowing the library to receive 69 new titles of children’s literature worth over $1,300.

This is the second grant in the last year the library has received from Pilcrow. The library’s own Mariposa County Friends of the Library contributed $200 toward the grant.

Books with beautiful artwork, award-winning authors and engaging stories will be added at every branch, with a heavy focus on non-fiction titles.

Community members can check out this display during their next visit to the Mariposa branch, and look for Pilcrow Foundation titles on the shelves at all five county branches soon.
