There will be fun for kids of all ages at the LEGO building competition this year at the Yosemite Chivalry & Fantasy Festival on June 1.

The Yosemite Chivalry & Fantasy Festival is bringing an exciting new challenge to this year’s event: the Bricks of the Realm: A Medieval Fantasy LEGO Quest.

This LEGO-building competition, set to take place on Sunday, June 1, at the Mariposa County Fairgrounds, invites builders of all ages to showcase their creativity, craftsmanship and storytelling skills in a medieval fantasy themed LEGO competition.

“Once again, we are bringing the magic of places like LEGOLAND right to Mariposa, giving young people and adult enthusiasts alike the opportunity to explore new realms of creative expression and discover new interests,” said Kimberly Vaughan, Executive Producer of the Yosemite Chivalry & Fantasy Festival.

LEGO competitions like these are taken very seriously by builders around the world, and we hope this event will continue to inspire the next generation of creators while attracting visitors to experience the beauty and creativity of Mariposa. We hope to announce the presence of a LEGO Pro Master to this year’s festival — stay tuned!

A Challenge fit for kings, queens and master builders

LEGO enthusiasts, from young apprentices to seasoned builders, will compete in a battle of imagination and ingenuity, constructing castles, dragons, knights and magical landscapes.

The competition is divided into two categories: Junior Builders (ages 6-17) and Pro Builders (18-up). Junior competitors will be judged by experienced Pro Builders, while festival attendees will cast votes for their favorite Pro Builder creations in the People’s Choice Awards.
