Keep McClintock in office

Editor,

I implore Mariposa County and Madera County voters to reelect Tom McClintock.

Democrat politicians have already promised to once again bring unconstitutional impeachment attempts against the president to sabotage his entire agenda including efforts to protect us from true existential threats. First and foremost is the threat of attack by Iran and its proxies on our homeland.

Impeachment is limited by the Constitution, in essence, to charges of high crimes. It was never intended to grant veto power over the president to Congress for political gain.

Bringing frivolous and baseless accusations for impeachment, as they have in the past, burdens the president’s time and energy, interfering with his ability to carry out all his duties.

In the present circumstances, only by maintaining a Republican majority in the House can we prevent the Democrat politicians from again abusing the power of impeachment to hobble the president’s efforts to save us from potential losses of many American lives.

The Democrat Party politicians have left many traditional Democrat voters behind with their infatuation with communist and radical Islamist ideologies.

Surely thinking, patriotic, Democrat voters can join Republicans on at least this. Please reelect Tom McClintock.
