Mariposa County Unified School District congratulated students Grace Hespenheide (top) and Jacob Arther (bottom) from Sierra Home School — and their teacher Tania Hespenheide on placing fourth in the Fresno County Science Fair. Their project focused on how natural resources can help mitigate dangerous compounds in leachate and was selected as a top project out of more than 200 entries.
