It’s almost time to play ball!

It’s that time of year again to gear up for youth baseball and youth softball.

Mariposa County Little League baseball registration opened a month early on Nov. 1 for the upcoming 2026 season.

Ages four and five: eligible for T-Ball

Ages six and seven: eligible for Rookies

Ages seven through 10: eligible for Minor League

Ages nine through 12: eligible for Major League

Ages 11-13: eligible for 50/70 Intermediate League

Ages 13-14: eligible for Juniors Division

For T-ball and Coach Pitch/Rookies registration is $100, for the Minor League and above, registration is $125.

Families registering multiple children receive a discount of $10 for the additional children.

Registration for Mariposa Girls Softball opens Jan. 1 along with coach applications and scholarship requests.

The age divisions include:

• 4U – 3 and 4 year olds
• 6U – 5 and 6 year olds
• 8U – 7 and 8 year olds
• 10U – 9 and 10 year olds
• 12U – 11 and 12 year olds
• 14U – 13 and 14 year olds
• 16U – 15 and 16 year olds
• 18U – 17 and 18 year olds

Coaching requirements for Mariposa Girls Softball require that all coaches and co-coaches be age 25 and up.

Assistant coaches must be age 18 or older.

Junior coaches must be at least three years older than the age group they are assisting with.
