There’s now doubt it was a grand time this past Saturday in Coulterville, when the annual CoyoteFest took place, complete with a parade, vendors and, of course, the howling contest. Clockwise, from top left, the Mariposa County Sheriff’s Office Honor Guard helped open the festivities in Coulterville; Ken Cotner, a longtime volunteer with the Mariposa County Sheriff’s Posse, was doing his normal duties, which are always with a smile; the custom car show is always a popular event during CoyoteFest, and this year was no different; Mariposa County Rodeo Royalty were also participants in the event.
