The 11th Annual Mariposa County Field of Service-Past and Present event is organized by the Hornitos 4-H club, Citizenship project.

Co-chairs are Lizzie Trujillo and Della Erickson, Hornitos 4-H members.

The event is an opportunity for all to remember and honor those that have become heroes and those we love.

Flags are flown for one week at Mariposa Museum and History Center for military, law enforcement, firemen, first responders and local loved ones.

Opening ceremonies are Sunday, Nov. 9, at 2 p.m.

Closing ceremonies are Sunday Nov. 16, at 2 p.m.

Come show support and gratitude by sponsoring a flag, re-flying or make a donation.

All proceeds go to Mariposa Museum and History center, American Legion Post #56 and Mariposa Veteran of Foreign War Post.
