It was a good show tonight,” said coach Jerry Lura.

The kids are coming along. The last few tournaments we’ve been seeing really good improvement from everybody.

With a large mix of experience levels within the roster, everyone is tuning up the basics.

We’re still really focused on the basics with everybody across every level,” Lura explained.

We want them to dial in to the key basic principles right now.

Even though some wrestlers didn’t get a win against Minarets, everyone is putting in the effort and taking steps.

We’ve seen a lot of growth and everybody did well tonight,” Lura said.

Both the kids who won and the kids who lost, it was a good show.

Next up, the Grizzlies will travel to Ceres High School on Dec. 20 for some tournament action before the holiday break.

Matches begin at 9 a.m.
