Come see Willy at the fair

My name is Della Erickson. I am 14 years old and a seven-year member of Hornitos 4-H.

This year I am showing a market lamb at the Mariposa County Fair. This is my first year showing sheep, so I am really excited.

My lamb’s name is Willy. He is a crossbred lamb and he currently weighs 136 pounds. I am hoping to do well in both market and showmanship with my lamb.

All of the money I make will go toward college and buying a broodmare to help start my horse breeding program.

If you would like to come and watch me show my lamb, the sheep show is Saturday, Sept. 5 at 11 a.m. The sale is on Sunday, Sept. 6 at 2 p.m.

If you have any questions about my project, I will be in the sheep barn all fair week.
