It was a day of celebration in Coulterville last Saturday as the town enjoyed Christmas festivities.

Vendors were selling their wares throughout the day and local shops were serving customers. The local food establishments were open and there were many activities happening.

The parade began right around sunset and afterward, many gathered at the Gazzolo Building on Main Street as Santa greeted the youngsters and Mrs. Claus passed out gifts.

There were refreshments served and it appeared everyone enjoyed the days festivities in Coulterville.

 

 

Coulterville resident Lulu Brown was all dolled up for the parade on Saturday afternoon. Brown’s home was damaged in a major fire earlier this year, but she still had the Christmas spirit.

Trung Pham, Bureau Chief for Vietnam Television in California, was filming the event in Coulterville on Saturday. Pham brought his family from Los Angeles to take in the festivities and said they all had a great time.

Nina Rhodes finally had a little time to relax when Santa was giving out presents. She spent a lot of time and effort preparing the events.

CAL FIRE always has a strong presence in the parade and this year was no different. Several pieces of equipment were rolling down Main Street.
